Main Room

Akira sat there and looked at Itachi. It seemed as if she sighed in disppointment, "After all that thinking. That's all? Well I guess I'll just go with it." She sat there a little angry. 'I know Itachi doesn't say much but I mean come on," she said to herself. Then, she burried her mouth under the neck of the cloak, closed her eyes, and put her head on her knees. Akira sat there in silence just as Itachi always did and she didn't like it much.

Itachi heard her response and simply glanced in her direction before looking down with his face void of any emotion. It would seem his partner was getting upset with him and his silence. After a moment more of silence did he stand up from his throne and looked to her with a emotionless expression. "Akira.", he said this simply and flatly as he watched his partner act this way. Itachi turned to face Akira now but did not take a step toward her. Silently he waited and watched her closely with his eyes on her now.

Akira opened he eyes quickly hearing Itachi had said her name. Then, she glanced up at him to see him standing. Akira still kept her mouth in her cloak as if she was trying to keep her head low. "Yes?" she asked in soft voice. She didn't know if she had done something wrong but she guessed she probably did. Akira had gotten in trouble often with Itachi so that's why she guessed.

Itachi merely observed her expression and how she sounded when she had spoke to him calling her name. Akira was very talkative while as he was very silent. Debating and observing what had happened and how she reacted did he merely close his eyes silently. Itachi's face never did change from it being void of emotion for it remained the way that it was. "Speak.", his words were flat but his attention was mainly on her and wanting to hear her say anything. Partner's had to work together as well as get along together and as he waited did he open his eyes to look at her with his head shifted to the side slightly. He was curious to hear what she had to say after all no emotion was shown on his face though his head did make the slighest of movement to lean to the side.

Akira looked a little confused as she looked at Itachi. Then, she pulled the cloak away from her mouth. "What? You actually want me to speak this time? I don't even know what to talk about. Are you feeling ok? I mean you've never done this before..." Akira kept going and again she lost track of her words. She didn't even realize she was still talking.

Itachi finally made some movement as he approached her but stopped semi close to her, it was clear that Akira was confused and she was even asking if he was alright. Usually, he never asks people to talk unless they want too. Itachi was observant which kept him from talking only cause watching was better than talking to people. Akira was different for she was a partner and they may as well enjoy eachothers company no matter the differences. "I do not care. Just say something.", he said this with a dull sound behind it while he kept his eyes on Akira. Itachi obviously looked over the question about him being alright for he was fine, no emotion still made way to his face and his head slowly shifted away from leaning as he waited.

Akira stopped and looked at Itachi. As he walked over she stood up. She had forgotten about her picture lying on the ground but then quickely picked it up. Akira then looked at it debating whether she shood or not but she did. She didn't know what else to say and since it was right there she asked, "Um do you want to see my picture?" She was just trying to buy some time until she coukd think of something else to say. This was hard for her to let it go though since she never let anyone see it.

Itachi merely blinked and watched as she picked up the picture and then asked about if he wanted to see it. Normally, he would not get involved with something so personal and it was probably cause he didn't show that he cared or actually showed anything for the other person. Akira was waiting for his response though and all that he could do was place his left hand out as he nodded. Itachi did this silently for if she decided to change her mind then he would not mind it. If it was something dear to her it was up to her if she wants to share with others or not. Itachi's face showed nothing however while he did this action.

Akira put the picture in Itachi's hand and waited to see if he would say anything. The only reason she let him see it was because they were partners. Akira would never show anybody else this picture ever. This was probably one of the first times she didn't know what to say. She usually had a million things to say but now she didn't.

Itachi took the picture and looked it over with his eyes fixed on who was in it, after a moment or so did he glance to Akira and then back down to the picture. It was clear that the people in the picture were dear to Akira for they looked like her. Assuming correctly did he look to her silently and said calmly. "I assume these are your parents.", he handed the picture back to her while he nodded again more to Akira than to himself. Itachi was silent as he returned the picture back to its owner.

Akira watched Itachi examine the picture. Then, she answered, "Yes." She then took back the picture and looked at it herself. Akira then stuck it in her bag. "You know I've never heard you talk so much. Today you've talked more than you did in a whole week." Then, Akira laughed a little. She then stood there with a smile on her face.

Itachi blinked silently before stating blankly. "Never have I seen you down. Only mad or happy.", he said this while turning to his side though his eyes were still on her smiling face. Partners help one another and that will be key to complete missions, relying on eachother will help them accomplish anything. They both need to start trusting eachother rather than fight with eachother. Itachi always went about thinking in a smart manner, by observing does he plan ahead. Keeping his eyes on Akira did he wait to hear what she had to say.

Akira made a face as if she was thinking. "You're right! I have a special way to keep myself from showing my sadness. I'm surprised I haven't shown any sadness I used to cry all the time before I was in the Akatsuki... Oops I wasn't supposed to say that out loud." Akira was looking like she was lost for a second but then smiled again. Akira somewhat tilted her head to the side as if she was kind of confused in a way but still smiling.

Itachi would of smirked toward her but his eyes closed as he said calmly. "It will not be discussed with others. Only between you and I.", after saying that did he open his eyes and walked back to his throne where he sat back down. Itachi however had his eyes shifted to the side as he kept a eye on Akira as if wondering what else she would say. It was like Itachi to become closer to his partner for they needed one another to get things done. If it were to be him by himself then it would cause problems which he did not like. Itachi disliked failing a mission which was why he tried his hardest to complete it without wasting to much time. Akira was indeed a nice partner to work with and that he could admit to himself and only to himself.

Akira still smiling sat back down to where she was before. She looked around the room. "Is it getting dark outside?" Akira was not much of a night person and could never stay up past the time the sun went down but rose as soon as the sun came out. She just stared at the ceiling wondering the time.

Itachi glancing up to the ceiling merely said. "Yes.", closing his eyes silently did he open them to glance to his partner. Akira liked the day time which was why she was always up during the day but once the night comes in does it change for she goes right to sleep when the day leaves. Itachi usually was up during the night as he sat in his throne with his eyes fixed on the life outside. At times will he merely sit there and watch the moon come into view. Itachi did sleep but it was rare at times for him to sleep which was why he rested his eyes so often.

Akira sat still staring at the ceiling but then moved to lie down as the sky became dark. She had covered her mouth again. Akira never liked having her mouth uncovered when she was not speaking. She stared up as the sky became dark and she silently fell asleep.

Hearing no words from his partner did he glance over to see she was asleep on the floor and as he watched her from the side of his eyes did he simply close them. Itachi would have known that Akira would fall asleep which was why no emotion showed itself on his face. The night rolled in much like it did everytime and all that he could do was watch it silently. Itachi found it soothing to watch the night for it was quiet, it was also good to clear his thoughts away.

The morning started to draw near. Akira was having the same dream she always had the one that woke her as soon as the sun came up. She always had the same one over and over. Akira watched all her loved ones die again and again every morning and that was how she was always up so early. Nobody could ever tell she was having such a dream and she never let anyone know. As soon as the sun came up, Akira awoke the same way she fell asleep. Her eyes opened and she lay there for a moment saying nothing as she thought about her dream once more. Akira then sat up with her back to the wall and rubbed her hands over her eyes.

Morning came and though his eyes were closed he could tell when it was morning for Akira wakes up when the day comes and so he knew what time it was. Itachi kept silent with his eyes closed still for it looked he was sleeping though he wasn't. As he rested his eyes he could not help but blankly think things that were important to him. Never did he stay on one thought though for he always has a plan to deal with his thoughts. Itachi was always thinking about the meeting and how both Akira and him could pull through together and win. Blankly Itachi said with his eyes closed and not once did he move, "You're awake."

Akira looked at Itachi with one eye because she was still rubbing the other. She then pulled her cloak down away from her mouth so she could speak. "Oh Hey Itachi. Good morning." Akira said a little sleepy still but with a short smile. She hadn't realized she was still here until she had heard Itachi. "Have you been in the same place all night?" she asked still not exactally awake yet.

Itachi had calmly remained in that spot ever since the night had fallen and then when the night left and day was introduced into the world did he still remain in his seat. Akira spoke 'Good Morning', which caught his attention. Simply he glanced toward her and merely returned his eyes forward with no sign of emotion left on his expression. The voice of his partner made way to his ears and he calmly closed his eyes and nodded before stating flatly. "Yes.", he responded to her so calmly and even when his eyes had opened did his features show a calmness unlike any other.

Akira was fully awake now and she was a little surprised, " No way how do you stay up all night I mean I can't even stay up past the time the sun goes down... Do you like ever sleep?" Akira talked a lot more in the morning than she did at night since it had been a while since she said anything. She forgot the fact that Itachi wasn't a morning person but it would most likely sink in soon.
