Slowly Pein walked out onto the overlook and stared down at the village below; Konan at his side. "Akira...She seems promising, wouldn't you agree, Konan?" He lifted his gaze and turned it on his partner who stood next to him. "Cahan as well...She seemed rather displeased to see me. Though she's still at our side along with Itachi. I think we shall do just fine." With a small intake of breath he looked upward at the sky. "We'll reach our goal. We'll destroy this war-ridden world and remodel it into a land of peace, and at last...Yahiko will smile on us, and this place, Amegakure, will finally stop crying."
