Drina's Bedroom

Kohaku nods. "Is that so--eeh!" The blond girl was tugged close to Drina, and fell into the bed with her when she was pulled. It was a bit startling, but Kohaku took it with stride and allowed herself to be curled close, her face buried towards Drina's neck. It was warm to be cuddle with a body and the fur. "I don't blame you though," she murmured to Drina, wrapping her arms slowly around the other out of need to feel the contact. She sighed happily at the attention, though it did come as a surprise to her that Drina would be the one to initiate it.

Kohaku's arms wrapped around Drina and it actually caused her to tense up a bit before she relaxed once more. She wasn't used to being touched, but for some reason she really wanted that right now. Perhaps the fox in her was acting up for once. "Blame me for what? Being so work oriented or tired?" She shifted her body against Kohaku's body before curling herself up a bit more.

"I don't blame you for being tired. If you're working all the time, then of course you're going to be exhausted," she said to Drina, allowing the woman to adjust as she needed in order to become more comfortable. Kohaku stared at Drina's throat, and the fur around them, her mind wandering here and there for a few moments. "Drina... Why do you work all the time?" Kohaku moves her head back a bit, just enough to see Drina's face.

"I told you...I'm going to make my clan name known." Drina sighed slightly before looking towards Kohaku's face. "I can't give up. I'll make it no matter what, and everyone will know. They'll remember mother and everyone else. Even if it is just because of the last name." That was exactly it. Drina was always working and serious so that she could make a name for her family.

"Well..." Kohaku sighed softly, nodding her head in understanding. "I can see what you're going for, but try not to overwork yourself to the brink of exhaustion," she warned, sounding as if she knew about working a lot. In reality, she did. Kohaku use to work really hard whenever her village was still alive and in need of money, but that was sometime ago. She knew that lacing off work was a better alternative for her personally.

"Heh. Such things don't wait for people to rest." Drina casually shifted herself under the furs so that she would remain covered. They were both girls true, but it was still odd to Drina since she herself was attracted to women, and clearly with all the flirting Kohaku was as well. Slowly she let her eyes fall shut once more though it wasn't necessarily for her to sleep.

Kohaku huffed, burying her face more towards Drina's throat to hide her face. "The day I make my name famous is the day you quit being so stubborn," she told the other. Fitting herself comfortably with her hands now slung around her own stomach, keeping it protected just in case. The younger girl yawned softly, her mind overworking since she had gotten plenty of rest before. Though since it seemed Drina was going to nap, Kohaku would at least lay there and allow the other to cuddle for a bit. That was just the kind of kindness Kohaku gave, even so to those attractive beings. This brought a faint smirk to her face.

"You never know. That day could come." Drina shifted slightly as Kohaku pushed her face away into her throat. She swallowed slightly but that was about it. Her eyes remained shut and relaxed, but when Kohaku yawned against her throat she flushed slightly and made a somewhat choked back sound as she tried to keep it hidden and she bit her lip some. That wasn't something she'd meant to happen...but her throat was rather sensitive.

"Maybe; we'll have to see," she murmured, blinking her eyes closed after a few menta of contemplation. Would she ever make a good name for her Clan? It's be a shame if she worked as hard as Drina but amounted to so much as a name-recognition. She frowned, her facial expression hidden by Drina's throat. The young curled more inwards to Drina, parting her lips to breath easier by her mouth. "It just all depends on how things play out."

Drina bit her lip a bit harder as Kohaku began to breath through her mouth and started talking against her throat like that. Was the woman trying to torture her? "Jeez, Kohaku..." She didn't say anything more but moved in a way to get her throat away from the woman's mouth with that blush still spread across her face.

Kohaku whined at the loss of warmth contact. Her eyes fluttered open, gold orbs staring up at Drina with a pout gracing her lips. "Whaaat?" Her tone was soft, questioning. "I thought you were snuggling in?" Drina was becoming even more confusing as she began to know more. What got this woman jerking back so suddenly? Did Kohaku do something? The blond adjusted herself further back, so she could see the other better.

Drina noticed that Kohaku was trying to see her face more clearly and she quickly turned it away in an attempt to hide the blush over her face. "It's nothing." She said in a somewhat stubborn voice. There was no way she'd let Kohaku that she'd hit the most sensitive part of her body. A slight frown crossed her lips.

Kohaku reached a hand and poked the lump she knew was Drina hiding. "Driiiina! Did I do something," she asked the other, adjusting herself so she sat cross-legged beside her, a frown planted upon her lips. "Gee. You're sure acting funny," she told the other, sighing softly afterwards. Her eyes glanced towards the ceiling, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Hmmm..."

Drina twitched slightly when Kohaku poked her. She held still until Kohaku sat up and then remained where she was for a few moments before sitting up as well; the fur nearly falling from her body before she caught it and pulled it back up while holding it in place. Her face had relaxed in color by now. "It's nothing." There was still a slight tinge of red though.

Kohaku huffed, crossing her arms below her bust and sulking, figuring that Drina wouldn't tell the younger to save her feelings, but why? Drina had no problem being blunt before. The blond blinked up at the older woman, an almost ruffled aura hanging around her. "Okay, if you insist," she told Drina, feeling her stomach rumble quietly. With that signal, she turned and got off the bed, padding over to her bag and picking out the dried fruits from under a t-shirt. "Ah-ha! There you are," she muttered, opening the bag to eat some.

Drina watched as Kohaku moved about the room before bending over and picking out a bag of dried fruits. Lightly she shook her head before allowing herself to lay down so that she wouldn't have to hold the furs up to cover herself any longer. "Your stomach requires attention quite a lot, hm?" She lifted one of her arms up so that she could lay it over her face and cover her eyes while the other rested up over that one.

"Haha, very funny missy," she told Drina with a pout, digging her fingers into the bag and retrieving fruit, popping them into her mouth as if they were candy. Kohaku was one of the girls that liked healthy snacks. Don get her wrong, she did have a weakness for sweets, but fruit were her favorite. With a sigh, Kohaku walked back over to the bed, sitting on the side and facing her bag, back showing to Drina. The blond pondered to herself, munching on another small handful. "I can't help it; I don't have good luck."

"Well, you were complaining that I never smiled. I thought maybe I'd surprise you a bit if I joked." Drina remained in that position until she felt the bed shift under Kohaku's weight. She moved her arm from over her face and glanced up towards the other woman, seeing her back. Slowly Drina sat herself up before pressing her front gently to Kohaku's back and resting her chin on the woman's shoulder. "What do you mean you don't have good luck?"

"Heh, well mission accomplished. You most certainly surprised me," she told the other woman, feeling the hunger recess from her stomach as she consumed for fruit, her fingers uock as they retrieved the snack from her bag. It was running low, Kohaku knew she'd have to go get a small amount of food and make it stretch until she found a stable job.

The blond sighed, hating the fact she was an adult. Nothing ever came easy, it was always work to survive. This is why her peoples perished. They didn't make good last longer, they stayed hidden so no one could come find them, they could not expand, so they died. Kohaku's eyes flicked towards her shoulder, but her head did not move. She shrugged the opposite shoulder, closing the bag in her palm to save the last bit for later. "Nothing. I just tend to have problems more than solutions," she answered.

Drina was silent as she listened to Kohaku speak and she watched as she closed the bag and such. She was silent for a few moments and left her head resting on Kohaku's shoulder where it was. Her face had returned to its normal and blank look for a few moments before her lips slowly twitched into a frown as she now stared at the floor. After a while she slowly lifted her arms and wrapped them tightly around Kohaku's waist. Still she said nothing as if she were thinking of what to say.

"Kohaku...Will you...Stay with me for a while?" Her frown deepened for a moment before she added quietly. "I mean...I still have a lot to teach you, of course."

Kohaku closed her eyes, fingers tightening slightly on the bag. She didn't want to spill on anymore details involving her life, well, at least not so freshly wounded by the reminder of her Clan. Whenever she thought the talking to be finished, she was embraced from behind by Drina. The woman's arms were strong, but warm. Comfortable, Kohaku would say aloud, if she were not so lost in thought.

Leaning back a small amount against Drina, Kohaku opened her golden flakes of eyes, turning her head just a bit to hear the other better. This was new, and quite an off guard invitation. The younger woman furrowed her brows, curious. "Stay with you, as in, here?" She wasn't quite sure what that all was about, but she'd get to the root of it eventually.

"Well like I said...I have a lot to teach you. I can't teach you anything if you're not here." She turned her head slightly so that her cheek pressed against Kohaku's shoulder blade and she sat in silence a moment. "You don't even know how to utilize your power properly. It would be useless for me to have given that lesson earlier, and having nursed you back to health if you just went out and died." Her face had flushed slightly, but Kohaku couldn't see it, so it was fine. "That's why I want you to stay."

Kohaku was silent for a few moments when, and even after Drina had spoken. She thought to herself, really thought--about their fighting, the battle, how she's been going up until now. It was true that she needed more work and training done to improve, which she was always open to learn, after all that was just human nature.

There was a bit of laughter from the blond, for she found it amusing that Drina had came up with a decent series of events that Kohaku would no doubt follow. Get killed or die being an idiot. This crossed the other's mind so often it was like routine. She nodded then, confirming herself. "That makes sense... Okay, I can do that."

A soft sigh escaped from Drina's lips as Kohaku said she'd stay. A small frown followed though. She wasn't all that certain as to why she wanted Kohaku to stay. What she did know was that it wasn't entirely the point of training her. Maybe it had been that Kohaku had actually gotten past her wall and she was somewhat afraid of being alone again. After a few moments she muttered. "If you die on me...I'm going to be pissed."

Kohaku felt like she was being put to use, somewhere that needed her, an it was just a bit terrifying. What happened last time, how she couldn't save even her mothers. Being relied on was pressure. Before panic could over take her, Kohaku shook the worried away, her hair tossing as her head swayed side to side. There was a pause whenever Drina spoke, and this caused Kohaku to snort, her features forming a smirk. "I promise; I won't die on you," she told the other, reaching a hand back to cup the back of Drina's head, tilting her cheek to the side to rest it against the crown of Drina's head, in a sort of small hug way. She felt as if she was making a genuine goal more than a joking response. However, she disnt think more of it.
